Decimal places
I would like to see two decimal places in the power flow graph. The solar input has two but the others only have one.
1 voteWe would like to see that too… but the inverters only deliver precision to one decimal point, I’m afraid.

Overload in a Phase
One of my client has a FX3000/48 3phase system when one of the phases are overloaded with more of the capacity of that inverter, the system goes off, I sugest detect this overload to make some actions (start a balancing transformer or start the generator)
1 voteOpticsRE is not designed to influence inverter operation so I am removing this feature request here.
I have passed the request along to product management for the inverter products for further consideration.
Thank you for your feedback!

auto download firmware
how about being able to download new firmware as unit is connected to net?
1 voteUnfortunately, current and legacy devices cannot be retrofit for automatic download. Future devices currently under development will support an automated firmware download capability.

Real time data
Real time second by second update rate for
systems that have fast internet conections1 voteWe’re currently receiving data from the legacy systems and controllers at a rate which doesn’t interrupt their “day job” of power processing. To provide this kind of throughput, the legacy systems would need to be retrofit as well as Optics and the data requirements on the server would skyrocket. We’ll keep the request in mind in general to increase where possible – especially as it concerns future devices.

Where temperature is displayed, we offer the choice of F or C. In our opinion, it would clutter the display unnecessarily to show both and would likely be very seldom used.

Wattplot compatibility with OPTICSre
Make the Mate3 data available to Wattplot again.
7 votesMy understanding of the 3rd-party Wattplot product is that if you’re using Wattplot, you wouldn’t require OpticsRE and vice-versa – that is, that WattPlot uses the Ethernet connection to the Mate3, making that connection unavailable to OpticsRE. OpticsRE doesn’t make Mate3 data unavailable, per se.

online updates as far as the firmware goes on different devices.
