Showing total power from PV array
I would like to see how much total power is coming in from my solar array. That means Before it's throttled down to charge (and not overcharge) the batteries, for example. I have a rough idea how much is expected in my area (PVWatts calculator) but it would be great to know what the totals of UNUSED solar power from my roof are: would it be worth selling the extra back to the utility? Should I try smelting aluminum or getting a flywheel? (those last two examples are facetious.) Anyway, I'd like to know what the Potential is for my PV array.

Perhaps try installing a shunt in your PV home run before it enters the charge controller?
