Have a way to post results to a personal webpage
This is closely aligned with the "widget" idea. I have used WattPlot for years to post production to my webpage (10 minute intervals), I don't see a way to do that with OpticsRe, although if someone has done this, I am interested.

Integration for Home Assistant (hass.io)
Integration with Home Assistant https://www.home-assistant.io/
There are many requests for more I/O and sensors and IfThisThenThat directly in OpticsRE and Outback Power products. A better way to do this is to integrate Outback Power products and Optics RE to hook into Home Assistant or OpenHab automation products via an integration software module. These automation systems are perfect for the people who are asking for more I/O outside the scope of what Outback Power offers.

Customized Defaults Profile slot with example Battery Module wizard
Customized defaults profile that can be enabled (use customized defaults) / disabled (Outback firmware defaults). Example use for this is battery configuration wizard for supported battery modules that can populate a customized default settings profile. Enter battery chemistry and listed battery module and quantity of each (mixing battery module types being supported by at least SimpliPhi) in a list, next your strategies i.e. temperature range and 80% DoD / 90% DoD / 100% DoD, and a confirmation page which shows the new settings and asks for clarification on settings that are different between modules listed (like Ah) or existing customized…

Why am I continually “offline”!

More remotely operable relays.
Make a relay bank that is operated via the internet. Something like what controlbyweb makes, but able to be controlled by optics. Many off the grid locations need relays for remote control (battery watering, heater tape cut out, computer hard resets etc.) Being to control everything from your dashboard on optics would be great. The number of remote relays available in your devices is not enough for our needs and I suspect other outback customers are also going to outside vendors for this functionality.

We recently added a “Grid Outage” notification via e-mail. Click the System Tools icon (gear), select notifications, scroll down to the Status section. I think that that’s what you’re after.

Build a local app to monitor system when offline
Build a downloadable local client app so local outback systems can be monitored When the Internet is down or my Internet connection is poor. My off-grid rural system is very vital, and to have to be on the Internet to monitor it is a very weak link. I can monitor the Mate3s, but its Interface is not near as good as the OpticsRE GUI, and when my system is off the Internet, I lose data during that time, which means I cant power down the router at night or when I am not using the Internet to save precious power.

Mobile phone or tablet version
Could you create a mobile css file to format OpticsRE to be friendly for iOS (and Android)? Alternatively an iOS app would be really nice. OpticsRE works great on a desktop browser but can be cumbersome on a phone or tablet.

Flex time for saved profiles. This would allow some very flexible configurations. Such as different charging options, sell options and other voltage related things.

Configurable manual start run period
Hi,
What would be good that I didn't mention in the recent survey would be the ability to specify a run period when starting the generator manually under AGS - allowing you to start but then specify, say 3hrs, and forget it rather than having to remember (or be in internet coverage) to turn off. It would be good to be able to set the default run period for this facility. It is cumbersome having to do via Exercise or Must Run plus I use these for standard run cycles.
cheers
